(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive) - At G2E 2024, Konami Gaming, Inc. unveiled new products such as Dragon's Law Fortune and K-Pow! Pig. Eduardo Aching, Vice President of International Gaming Operations, also revealed plans for expansion in the Brazilian iGaming market, highlighting its growth in the United States.

G2E 2024: Konami showcases omni-channel approach and plans expansion in Brazilian iGaming market

Three Key Innovations: iGaming, SYNKROS Systems and Traditional Gaming

Eduardo Aching, started the interview by highlighting a number of key innovations that enhanced the visitor experience at this year's G2E exhibition. "Visitors were able to discover new developments in all areas," he said.

In iGaming, "Konami continues to expand its popular online slots content, with record titles for omni-channel distribution, such as K-Pow! Pig, Dragon's Law Fortune and many more."

On SYNKROS systems, Aching stressed, “We celebrated the G2E debut of an all-in-one digital drink ordering system called SYNKROS Drink System, along with in-demand innovations including facial recognition, artificial intelligence, mobile technology, system-provided progressive jackpots and anti-money laundering compliance.”

Within the traditional gaming sector, Konami stood out for its innovative content. Aching explained that they presented “DIMENSION's most creative content to date”, referring to their renowned DIMENSION 49J machine which, combined with their new releases, was a key highlight of their booth.

Audience Response and Booth Highlights

The iGaming area of Konami's stand at G2E 2024 attracted a large number of new and existing partners. “We have a strong library of player-favourite land-based games, which are now available on online gambling sites,” said Aching, mentioning popular titles such as China Shores and Adorned Peacock, along with new hits such as All Aboard and Dragon's Law Fortune. These titles are supported by its Remote Gaming Server (RGS), which easily integrates with the systems most commonly used by iGaming operators.

One of the big successes of the stand was the launch of K-Pow! Pig, which stood out for its omni-channel approach. "This year, K-Pow! Pig was one of our most prominent launches for both online and face-to-face gaming," commented Aching. He added that “this original progressive linked series was showcased at G2E on our award-winning DIMENSION 49J machine, as well as in the iGaming section of our booth, with HTML5 delivery compatible with smartphones, tablets and desktop devices.”"He also said that reaching today's players is critical, which is why the firm's omni-channel approach is a priority for partners with both physical and online sites.

When asked about the response they received, Aching said that the reception from iGaming operators to their stand and products was highly positive, with enthusiasm for Konami' s new games to be launched in the coming weeks and months.

Developments within the US market

Referring to Konami' s innovations to adapt to the evolving US market, Eduardo Aching, highlighted Bingo Frenzy Stampede. “In addition to appearing for the first time in front of industry professionals on the G2E show floor, this original Konami slot landed live at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, right next to the exhibition space, as the world's first installation. Bingo Frenzy Stampede uniquely combines a popular slot credit prize mechanic with a 5-in-a-row bingo bonus feature,” he explained.

According to Konami's vice president of international gaming operations: “by collecting 5 symbols in a row during the game's signature bonus game, players can unlock potentially big prizes via the game card and advance towards the big winning jackpot. This new release stands out not only for its mechanics, but also for its high-energy animations and dynamic entertainment style, making it a unique experience for players.”

Konami's Future Goals: Brazil in Focus

Towards the end of the interview, Aching delivered a key message to new customers and potential partners. Firstly, he re-emphasised that several of Konami's products are showing exceptional performance success, such as Dragon's Law Fortune, Lucky Honeycomb Fortune and Fortune Mint Trinity. “We are focused on maximising these results in both traditional arcades and online platforms, with omni-channel benefits, he said.

He went on to stress the importance of making sure operators are utilising the full potential of these games. "If any of our customers are unsure whether they are maximising their usage, we want to discuss this as early as possible to help optimise their business, “ he explained, reaffirming Konami's commitment to its customers” success.

As for the company's near-term goals, Aching commented that Konami has celebrated major expansions in the North American and Latin American markets, growth that the company is determined to continue. “Looking ahead to 2025, we are already poised to enter Brazil's recently regulated iGaming sector,” he noted.

Finally, with the Brazilian market in their sights, Aching highlighted that the Konami team has already begun to establish relationships with iGaming operators in Brazil, with the goal of making their content available to these new customers. “It is critical for us to ensure that Brazilian operators have access to our products, and we are very excited about what the future holds in this exciting new phase, he concluded.
